Aftercad Announces the appointment of Pieter Dorsman and S. N. Howe to its Board of Advisors
VANCOUVER, BC - June 11, 2007 - Aftercad is pleased to announce the appointment of Pieter Dorsman and S.N Howe (Sean) to its Board of Advisors.
Pieter Dorsman - VP Corporate Development
Pieter Dorsman runs his own consulting firm Redpeaks Management Inc. through which he advises early stage technology companies, takes on interim management roles and works with venture capital firms. In 2003 he co-founded Actenum Corp., a Vancouver based software developer and he currently serves on the board of ClearVision Technologies Inc.
Prior to relocating to Vancouver Mr. Dorsman held a number of senior positions in the project and corporate finance divisions of UBS in Hong Kong where he was responsible for financial advisory and arranging mandates in Asia. Prior to joining UBS he worked for the structured finance and corporate banking divisions of Barclays Bank in Hong Kong and London. Mr. Dorsman studied law and holds a Master's degree in Economic History from the Erasmus University in Rotterdam, The Netherlands.
Sean Noel Howe
Sean Howe is a twenty year veteran of the communications and high technology sector. He has held executive marketing and general management positions in communication services at Bell Canada and Teligence Communications; in OSS software at Nortel Networks eBusiness Solutions group and Architel Systems; and in embedded systems at Spectrum Signal Processing. He was also a senior team member in a successful BCE/MCI joint venture start-up in New Zealand (Clear Communications), and has worked in Silicon Valley with SGI. He was an advisory board member of Domainia.com, now an IAC/InterActiveCorp property and is currently an advisory board member of Bankonrealestate.com in Boston and Advanced IO in Vancouver. He has studied economics, finance and organizational development and holds a B.A. from Carleton University in Ottawa, Ontario and an M.A. from Royal Roads University in Victoria, British Columbia. He currently provides consulting and advisory services to technology firms in the Pacific North West.
